Barley VENICE is a new selection of Saatbau Linz – a leading European company in the selection of cereal crops. The variety combines strength, yield and beauty, showing stability in different climatic conditions. It is characterized by large spikes and grains with a high absolute mass, which guarantees high feed value and good market demand.
In two-year trials VENICE surpasses the most famous European varieties of winter barley with 5–10% higher yield. It was put into production in Bulgaria in 2023 and is already showing excellent results.
