The variety VILMA is a spring barley that is characterized by stable and high grain yields, combined with very good quality. The plants are mid-early, medium in height, as the stem is strong and provides good to medium lodging resistance.

The grain is distinguished by good hectoliter mass and high to medium weight per 1000 seeds, which contributes to its good technological performance. The variety shows very good resistance to grain crushing, making it reliable in harvesting and storage.

VILMA has good adaptability and is distinguished by high tolerance to economically important diseases, such as net spots and rhynchosporiasis, as well aslow sensitivity to cdwarf rust.

Sowing is recommended to be done in the period February - March, at density 350–380 germinated seeds per square meter, to achieve optimal yield potential.
