The event brought together farmers, agronomists and partners from the region and the country, who had the opportunity to learn about the latest solutions and technologies for the successful production of autumn cereals.
The host of the event was Sortovi Semena 2002, which for another year provided its demonstration fields to present current varieties and technologies in real production conditions. Visitors viewed test plots with different varieties of wheat, barley, triticale and rye, having the opportunity to follow the development of the crops and compare their performance in the field.
During the open day, the specialists from Sortovi Semena 2002 presented the latest variety offers for the upcoming sowing campaign, as well as the results of the applied production technologies. The new varieties of wheat and barley, demonstrating excellent potential for yield and stability under different climatic conditions, aroused special interest.
The team of Timak Agro Bulgaria presented innovative solutions for plant nutrition and technologies for increasing the efficiency of fertilization. Practices for optimal use of nutrients, improvement of soil fertility and increase in profitability of production were discussed.
The representatives of NIK Bulgaria demonstrated modern solutions for precision agriculture, including crop monitoring technologies and the capabilities of unmanned aerial systems in agriculture. Visitors had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the latest developments in the field of digital management of agricultural holdings.
Leader Consulting presented current agronomic recommendations and good practices for production management aimed at sustainable and economically efficient agriculture. The company's specialists held numerous individual consultations with the present farmers and answered questions related to grain cultivation technologies.
